081005 不要拿别人的错误来惩罚自己

最近心情很不好，常常因为身边的人，使到自己处于不开心的环境里。因此喜欢向身边的人发牢骚，埋怨吐苦水。我想这也是导致我处理事情比较情绪化。

放工回家休息时看到书橱上戴晨志的一本书--《你可以更杰出》，顺手就打开来看。这一本书买了好久，就是没有时间打开来看。

原来不开心的心情，看着书中的激励散文，我复杂的心情也慢慢的开始释怀。翻阅了几面突然读到书里头这么一句话“为什么拿别人的错误来惩罚自己”。这句熟悉的话，记的几年前，一个朋友也曾这么对我说。我终于笑了。为什么自己一直在钻牛角尖呢？其实看开点，每个人都有弱点。重要的是当我们面对的问题的时候，如何处理呢？

许多人因为别人的一句话就赌气，做傻事。何必这么和自己过意不去呢？他值得我如此的牺牲吗？想清楚后，也许你也会和我一样，一笑而过。

When i read this quote, something came into my mind. No only become a president, but to sucess in our life without hard working and work smart, we never get it done in our life. 

Leaving in the instant mee generation, a lot of people though that something can be learn without work hard. A friend of mine asking me the opinion on the quotation on hiring a photographer during his wedding. He told me the photographer quoted RM800. I was very suprise as this price was quite cheap for a wedding photographer (I haven't have a chance to see his photo shooting). When i shared with my others friends, there were few reactions:

1) Very Expensive.. Haiyo.. use digital camera enough, can get a good picture. Don't be stupid

2) Wow, so cheap... he get a good price

3) Er.. no Comment

My friend told me that photographer is his friend and he is using quite professional camera (DSLR) to took the picture (i saw on the day of the wedding). To me, those free lance photographer spent a lot of money in their accesories to get quality picture where sometime will more then few ten k. Beside that, these group of people also spent their time to polish their skill either by taking a lot of photo or attent some class or do further reading and research. So, can the job worth RM800? or shall be more? 

Turn around and ask, if you are  lawyer, do you expect people pay you less than what had you invest to become a lawyer.. I don't think so.

like bill clinton said: Without a high pain threshold, you can't be a successful President. To be a president, they work hard for it, similar like engineer and lawyer and the others. Nothing is free in this world. 

081002 - Kuala Lumpur Bird Park - Part 2

Sharing some nice picture i took while on my trip to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. The ticket was so cheap. It just RM15 for Malaysian and RM 29 for foreigner. Some did complaint the ticket was too expensive. I just wonder why. The park need to keep so many animal. RM15 from everybody to maintain such a big park it is no easy. One thing, all birds were really beautiful especially their feathers. The management need to pay their staff, medical for the bird, maintainance for the park, food, new bird, to maintain the ecology in the park and so on. So RM15 is  no expensive, if you felt expensive, then i would like to recommend you to feed a peacock and see how much it cost you. :)

This is the only peacock I saw he open his tail. He knew we want to take picture of him. So he purposely saw it tail to us and turn around to show off its tails.

Nonstop marathon eating. 

I guessed this group of parrot was hungry ghost. Remember give them some sun flower seed and they will stand on your hand.  By the way, they may eat too much, then you need to give them some water.

This guy when I touched its leg, he bow down his head to me to allow me to “saying” him. So cute. However when anothe white parrot saw this, he felt jealous and shout to this parrot.

This fellow was fall in sleep when I trying to get some picture from him. I guessed he was too tired that day.

These 2 birds were standing on the timber finding some bugs. When my friend first saw them, she thought that it was 2 head bird. This picture was taken when I was watching the birds show. They were just 5 feet from my place.  

This fellow was looking for some fish. I hardly felt that there were any fish inside the pond.

I like this boy. He was dancing on the pedestrian street. When I try to shoot some picture from him, he gives me a few nice posts. The most attractive part I like it his eye

This handsome peacock was the first peacock in the garden I saw. He was working with another friend in the zone 4 finding some food.

Guess what was this animal? Initially I thought it was ostrich, but well my general knowledge fails. It was emu. He is looking for food as well. I did feed them with some vegetable. Anyhow quite dangerous when you try to feed them as they make accidentally bike you hand while getting the vegetable from you.

081001 - Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

Second day of Hari Raya, together with my friends and my sister, we went to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is located at Lake Garden, Kuala Lumpur.

This was my first time visit Kuala Lumpur Bird Park since 9 years I stay in Selangor. We went to Tugu Negara before Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. From Tugu Negara, we reached at the bird park about 12:00 pm. Initially we decide to go to Kuala Lumpur Orchid Farm and Hibiscus Farm which is just opposite of the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (KLBP). However we found out that it was closed down for 2 days. We left 2 choices, either Kuala Lumpur Bird Park or Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park.  Finally we decided to go to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park.

The entrance fee is RM15.00 for Malaysian and RM29.00 for foreigner.  When we bought the tickets at the counter, the cashier told us to enter quickly as there was a show going to start soon at zone 4. 

From the entrance we rushed to the zone 4 for the show. When we reached at zone 4, the parrot show was started. If you ever went to National Zoo, the show was just almost similar. Frankly speaking, the show at the bird park is better than National Zoo. The show took about 30 minutes. After the show we decided to start our visiting from zone 4.

From zone 4, we enter into Milky Way. There is water fall. The water quite clean and the birds were playing in the pond. Few Chinese duck was resting at the side of pond. You can find there were a lot of birds at that area and there are not locks in the cage.  Working around in the zone 4, you will found there were a lot of giant birds like ostrich and emu. Emu look alike ostrich. My first thought of the emu was emu also an ostrich. After reading the description and discussed with my friends we found that emus are smaller than ostrich. Besides that, emu has 3 toes each legs but ostrich has only 2 toes each legs. There is place at zone 4 for the visitor to feed parrots. For those who like to take parrot picture, this is a nice place for you to capture all nice parrots.

Moving from zone 3 and zone 4 toward zone 1 and zone 2, we found there are a lot peacocks there. The great things about the peacock are, these peacocks are not locked in the cage or a place that was fenced. You can find these peacocks working on the street. If you bring peanut, some of them will come over to you to ask for food. There are a lot peacocks inside zone 1 and 2. The peacock’s feathers were really nice. If you had been national zoo, I am sure you will see male peacocks with ugly tails. While I did my photo shooting, there was a peacock showing off its tails. It was really pretty.

The whole journey took us about 3 hours. We were quite rush on that day as most of us quite tire. My recommendation for those who plan to go to the bird park, you can plan to go early in the morning, and bring some food so that you can stay longer inside the bird park. Any way there are some stall you can bring snack as well. Do remember bring some nut for the birds like peanuts and sun flower seed. Don’t forget to bring water as I am sure you need to work a lot. Finally, bring a camera and do some photo snapping.
